Taken from an upstairs window (corner windows facing NE and SE), these pictures are "the best of the rest". With no good westerly view, storms must pass off to the east (and the rain slacken) before they can be photographed. The leftmost picture in the second row shows a branch tip from a very close flash just due west of us.
