We are residents of Robbinsville, NJ: parents and citizens concerned about the future of our children and our country in the face of an alarming decline in the quality of math and science education.
Since the very initial implementation of Connected Math and Everyday Math in our district, some of us have brought concerns to the teachers and administrators of our district. We have been repeatedly and politely dismissed, and it has lately come to our attention that the school board feels that only one or two parents have concerns about the curriculum.
Perhaps parents can be dismissed if they approach singly, but the sum total of the parents who have sincere concerns about our curriculum cannot be ignored. |
